Before starting this book, I hadn’t touched my camera in a year. I was doubting myself in all aspects, and truly didn't believe in my talents. New to New York, the country’s most populated city, I found myself extremely alone and isolated, although I was surrounded by some of my best friends. But they had lives, goals guiding them from day to day. Meanwhile I sat in my room rewatching Curb Your Enthusiasm. I had no sense of direction. No grand source of inspiration pushing me to get up everyday. But In less than 30 days, my friends and I were opening a gallery and I had nothing to hang next to the most amazing artists that I know. All of that boiling inside of me, lit a fire and forced me to do something I’ve never done, to put myself out there in a way that wasn’t imaginable a year prior.

These are photos of 30 complete strangers I met roaming around New York City. Some of which I’ve built relationships with. Others I might never see again. Through their eyes, these amazing people helped me find the footing I needed to give myself direction at the beginning of a very important chapter of my life.
